Sign Up to Volunteer

In early February, we open the online sign-up process for farm volunteers. Volunteer sessions are scheduled from mid-April through late October.  

Have you read our volunteer guidelines with important details about volunteering? If so, you are ready to 1) sign up for specific sessions as an individual volunteer, or 2) request a session to volunteer as a group. *Please note that groups are limited to a maximum of 2 sessions per season to accommodate high demand.*

During the height of the growing season, it may take 2–3 business days for us to follow up with you, so please schedule well in advance. Your volunteer session is not confirmed until you receive a written booking confirmation from our system and/or our volunteer manager.

We recognize that the farm property is inaccessible for many folks and want to make visiting and/or volunteering available to all. If transportation to the farm is a logistical or financial barrier for you, we can offer an Uber voucher to sponsor the trip to and from Concord. Please reach out to Avery, avery@gainingground.org, to get a voucher and for more information about how they work.
