A Warm Welcome To Our New Board Members

We’re thrilled to welcome four outstanding new members to Gaining Ground’s Board of Directors: Robyn Eastwood, Reed Holden, Jane Huber, and Belinda DiSilvio
Together, these new board members bring a powerful mix of professional expertise and personal passion for food justice, community resilience, and hands-on service. Each of them has already demonstrated a strong commitment to Gaining Ground’s mission, and they now join the board at an exciting time of continued growth and deepened impact.
We’re excited for the insight, enthusiasm, and heart each of them brings to our mission.
Robyn Eastwood

A dedicated nonprofit professional and lifelong fundraiser, Robyn has spent more than two decades supporting organizations that serve children and families affected by poverty, mental health challenges, homelessness, and injustice. She currently serves as Development Director at Adolescent Consultation Services in Cambridge and previously worked at Project Hope Boston. Her work—both in Massachusetts and in England—reflects a deep commitment to building stronger, more equitable communities.
Robyn holds a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and History from Juniata College and brings both strategic fundraising expertise and a personal passion for resilience and justice to all she does. A graduate of The Trustees of Reservations’ Master Urban Gardener program, she finds joy in gardening and community-building. Robyn has already made meaningful contributions as a member of our Development Committee, and we’re delighted to have her officially join the board.
Reed Holden

Reed brings decades of experience in business strategy, negotiation, and leadership. He founded Holden Advisors Corp in 2003 to help companies navigate complex business-to-business sales and customer relationships, following years of teaching at institutions like Boston University, the University of Chicago, and Columbia. A widely published author and longtime professional speaker, Reed has advised senior executives at major organizations throughout his career.
Now retired, Reed is focused on making meaningful contributions in the community. He currently serves on the board of the Bridgton (Maine) Food Pantry, where he helped lead a successful fundraising campaign for a new facility. He’s also a founder and officer of the Concord Conservation Trust and an advisor to Camp Starfish. With a deep commitment to addressing food insecurity and a passion for hands-on work—from maple sugaring in Maine to gardening—Reed brings both strategic insight and heart to our mission.
Jane Huber

Currently the Chief Communications Officer at Harvard Radcliffe Institute, Jane is a creative, committed, and thoughtful nonprofit leader with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and leveraging strategic planning and advocacy communications to drive social change. She previously served as the Institute’s Director of Communications and, before that, held senior roles at Oxfam America, including Content Director and Creative Director.
Jane brings deep expertise in communications and a lifelong passion for social justice, along with a love of gardening and farming nurtured in her hometown of Concord. Her admiration for Gaining Ground’s mission—sparked in part by the many wonderful stories shared by her friend and Gaining Ground Assistant Grower, Ava Lublin—makes her a natural and enthusiastic addition to our community.
Belinda DiSilvio

A longtime volunteer and dedicated member of the Community Farm Team (CFT), Belinda brings a deep personal connection to our farm, as well as decades of professional experience in project management and fundraising. A Senior Director at Epsilon, where she’s worked for 25 years, Belinda began her career supporting major fundraising clients like the American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, and The Cousteau Society. She holds certifications in both project and scrum management and is known for leading large-scale initiatives with skill—and the occasional celebratory haiku.
Belinda’s passion for community, fitness, and the outdoors shines through in all she does. She’s run the Boston Marathon three times, teaches spin and barre classes, and has hiked extensively—including summiting a 14,000-foot peak in Colorado with her son. Her enthusiasm for Gaining Ground’s mission is rooted in years of hands-on service and a genuine admiration for our farmers and partners. We’re thrilled to have her join the board and bring her energy, insight, and deep commitment to our work.
