Spring is on the horizon, and with it comes one of our favorite traditions—Poetry on the Farm! Now in its fifth year, this self-guided exhibit transforms the farm into an open-air gallery, celebrating the beauty of language, food, nature, and farming through original poetry.

From April to June, we’ll showcase poetry from our food recipients, partner organizations, volunteers, and local writers—bringing voices from across our community to the fields.

We’d love to feature your work! If you have a poem to share, submit it by Friday, March 21 to be part of this special exhibit. Submit here, or to poems@gainingground.org.

While we will do our best to display all submissions, space is limited. Any poetry we aren’t able to feature on the farm will be included in a digital album to ensure all voices are shared. Please note that Gaining Ground reserves the right to choose not to display any submission should it violate our community guidelines.
