Welcoming Partners To The Farm

A true season highlight is welcoming our hunger relief partners to the farm. These annual visits build the deep, authentic relationships that sustain our shared mission. Recently, our friends from the East Boston Community Soup Kitchen (EBCSK) arrived with a van full of enthusiastic staff, volunteers, and clients. Even though heavy rain altered some plans, the group didn’t skip a beat.
We gathered under the pavilion to separate coriander seeds harvested from our cilantro plants, which sparked wonderful conversations. Some cat owners in the group even harvested fresh catnip to take home! We loved touring the farm with friends old and new.
EBCSK Founder and Executive Director Sandra Nijjar shared, “Your kindness gave us so much more than a day away. It gave us an experience filled with joy, laughter, learning, and precious memories. We saw firsthand the love, passion, and dedication your team pours into your work every single day, and it inspired every one of us.”
