Photography on the Farm: Call for Submissions

Calling all photographers!

Submissions are now open for Photography on the Farm, a special exhibit at Gaining Ground that will showcase the creative talents and perspectives of community artists.

If you love making pictures of farms, gardens, and the natural world, we encourage you to submit your work. The deadline is August 11, 2023. All entries must be sent digitally—physical photographs will not be accepted.

There is no cost to participate!

You may submit your photograph here.

Photography on the Farm is free and open to the public during farm business hours.

The installation will run from Sept. 9 to Oct. 20, with photographs displayed along a self-guided path that visitors can stroll at their own pace. The installation will also feature information about no-till agriculture for resilient soil and communities; the reality of food insecurity in our wealthy region; and the hunger relief movement we’re proud to be part of.
